Our Philosophy

Tiger Tennis Academy is “Where Beginner’s Play”! Our tennis program focuses on children just starting their journey into the world of tennis. Beginners at Tiger Tennis Academy show quick results! After just 4 or 5 group lessons, children as young as 5 years old begin to make contact with the ball and return the ball back to a coach. The thrill in their eyes is truly amazing!

Our instruction is based on fun and educational training programs and standards developed by the United States Tennis Association. We begin by teaching proper technique on both the forehand and the backhand. Solid fundamentals are key in the early development of a tennis player.

We structure our classes so ALL KIDS get to participate – and no one is left out!

Tiger Tennis Academy’s objective is not to create the next US Open champion. However, we guarantee your child will benefit from the best tennis has to offer – improved physical fitness, better concentration & confidence, and socialization within a safe and healthy environment.

Our Team

Unlike many other tennis programs that have older instructors, our team includes primarily younger coaches with significant playing experience and knowledge. Our instructors’ ability to inspire and relate to young children is a key advantage at Tiger Tennis Academy. We have found that younger instructors make a more natural connection with kids – helping them feel comfortable learning and socializing.

Age Groups

We teach kids aged 4-14 years old to develop the skills and confidence to enjoy the sport for a lifetime. Based on our 10+ years experience, we’ve found that the following three age groups are the ideal mix both socially and strategically for learning the game:

4-5 Years
6-9 Years
10-14 Years

Year-Round Semesters

At Tiger Tennis Academy, we offer classes all year – both outdoors and indoors. Each semester lasts between 7 – 11 weeks, and we have 5 semesters per year. The advantage of year-round semesters is that kids have continuity in their learning, and they get to meet new students as well as continue with old friends

Multiple Locations

Tiger Tennis Academy partners with over 5 outdoor and indoor tennis facilities to offer a convenient class near you. We currently have locations in Queens and Nassau County. Stay tuned! We continue to add new locations!

We are proud of our program and confident that your child will love Tiger Tennis Academy. If after one class, your child does not want to continue, we will refund the cost of the entire semester, no questions asked. It is not applicable for our summer camps.
